Here's a little about me, I'm a 2D/3D artist with about 7 years worth of experience in the games industry and a few years working in advertising, animation, Illustration and post

Employment History:

'Futurium' 22/10/18 to 10/08/19

I worked as a 3D artist and then later as a Lead Artist at 'Futurium' a company specializing in 

Producing real time architectural models and landscapes in unity for new build houses and flats exteriors and interiors.   Accuracy to the plans and ground survey data was paramount along with keeping to deadlines.  Company Clients such as Red Row homes would need models ready for sale center opening times which meant working an extremely efficient pipeline while under pressure was routine.

I produced graphics for online adverts for ‘HSBC’ and produced backdrop illustrations for online puzzle solving adventure games along with logo designs.  I also illustrate from doing full concept paintings to white board diagrams marketing products for a variety of clients.

 

 ‘Strawdog Studios’ 01/02/13 to 31/01/14

 

I was a 2d/3d graphical designer for ‘Strawdog Studios’ creating games for mobile devices; my work includes 3d modeling, illustration, user interface design, icons and animating,  my last released title was ‘Rebel Warfare’ currently on the Apps store I am also involved with producing material for marketing and pitching projects, the work is varies greatly and involves having to work with a number of different styles.

 

 

‘Eurocom’ 16/04/10 to 23/11/12

 

I  was an environment artist with Eurocom  I have been creating levels and assets, in some cases concept designing them too, for a number of games including ‘Disney Universe’, ‘Harry Potter for Kinnect’, ‘Rio’, and the upcoming ‘007 Legends’.  I have been fortunate to have been working on games that have required a wide variety of art styles from the heavily stylized ‘Disney Universe’ right through to the technical realism of ‘Potter’ and ‘007’.  As an environment artist I am responsible for modeling, texturing and lighting the environments and maintaining them all the way through the development cycle of the entire project.

 

‘Sony Home’ 15/01/09 to 26/10/09

 

I worked as a full time environment artist for Outso creating environments for community spaces on Sony Home the online element for the PlayStation 3, I was also involved with creating leaflets and production drawings.

 

Free Radical Design’ 27/03/06 to 18/12/08

 

Worked as an environment artist modeling and texturing props, vehicles and levels on a next gen title for LucasArts (Battle Front 3), in addition to making game assets I was also required to produce concept art to be verified by licensing.  I was also it.  The job involved required to learn Maya on the fly as well as all aspects of working with graphics engines.

 

‘Granada’

 

Co directed and animated an insert for the documentary ‘Dark side of Elephants’ for the ‘Discovery Channel’, the job required both 3d, and hand drawn animation.  Other freelance work included the award winning opening graphics for ‘Poor Little Rich Girl’.
